IGT Appoints Nick Keane As Global Gaming President

Game equipment maker and content provider International Game Technology Plc (IGT) has appointed Nick Keane (pictured) as president of global gaming, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Keane has served as IGT COO and senior vice president of gaming since 2015.

"I am responsible for managing IGT's global gaming division, including studio, technology, sales, gaming and hardware, manufacturing and services, and systems," Keane said in his new position. The executive will report to IGT's chief executive Vince Sadusky.

The announcement quoted Sadski as saying: "Nick is the clear choice to lead IGT Global Games. Under his leadership, IGT continues to release the best games and strengthen performance across all game categories."

The group operates three main categories: Global Lottery, Global Gaming, and PlayDigital, an online content division.

Keane joined IGT in 2013, where he led corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions. He is known for more than 23 years of experience in the industry, including senior executive positions in Las Vegas, London and Sydney.

IGT will sell its gaming and play digital business to a fund managed by an affiliate of private equity firm Apollo Global Management for $4.05 billion, according to an announcement two weeks ago.

The company reported second-quarter net income attributable to shareholders of $42 million on $1.05 billion in overall group revenue. 프라그마틱 슬롯 사이트

In the three months to June 30, revenue from the global gaming and digital segment was $436 million, compared to $432 million a year earlier.

In March, IGT announced changes to the company's board of directors and management.
